Timber Ridge Running and Fitness Group
Posted on: 2010-07-25
I have noticed more people starting to get out and exercise. A lot of you have made great progress. I previously taught a running group in Dearborn, but now have started to lose contact with many after living in this great neighborhood. I would like to start a running/fitness group here, if people are interested. This group would be very flexible to times, days, and experience. We can cover everything from maintaining a heather life style to individuals that would like to run Marathons. My history also includes Assistant Coach of indoor track @ EMU, setting a record @ Milan High, teaching classes for local fireman and paramedics on heathy living, and completing ten full fun marathons. This is a good opportunity to have fun, set goals, get informed, and live a heathy lifestyle. Feel free to email me if you have some interest. I would like to get started before Fall if possible. Hope to see many of you soon.

| 2010 Saline Summer Music Series
Posted on: 2010-05-05
Billed as a summer event for the enjoyment of area residents and their guests, Saline’s Summer Music Series has grown exponentially over the years and has now become a major entertainment happening for the entire Saline area community. According to Downtown Development Director Art Trapp, “All performances are free to the public and, weather permitting, will be out in the open after we close South Ann Arbor Street. If it’s raining we’ll be over at Historic Union School, also in downtown Saline. This year we have a good mix of local and well-known outside entertainers coming in and I am sure those who attend any of the performances over the summer will find it truly a fun and memorable experience!” All concerts will be on Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m. starting June 11th with the widely-acclaimed “Saline Fiddlers”. Subsequent performances include “6 Foot Poles” on June 18th, “Jesse Palter” on June 25th, “Rattlebox” on July 2nd, “Saline Big Band” on July 9th, “Fiddlers ReStrung” on July 16th, “Justine Blazer” on July 23rd, “Dan Rafferty Band” on July 30th, “Saline Summerfest” two-day event on August 6th & 7th, and “The Macpodz” on August 13th. | YORK TIMBER RIDGE SUB ROAD MAINTENANCE
Posted on: 2010-04-14
BOARD UPDATE: Funds have been escrowed and agreements signed clearing the way for WCRC to seal the cracks on our roads sometime in August or September. The association will be picking up half of the expense with WCRC paying the balance. Hopefully this overdue maintenance will help to preserve our existing surface and postpone more expensive road replacement costs later.
